Conception and creation of a digital museum tour with audio guide

In order to make the passengers' stay more interesting before and after a trip with the Sauschwänzlebahn and to increase the time spent in the railway museum, MAQNIFY was commissioned with the conception of a digital museum tour. The Blumberger Railway Museum, housed in the former goods shed of the Blumberg-Zollhaus railway station, guides visitors through the history of the origins of our "Sauschwänzlebahn" and displays many nostalgic mementos from the past steam railway era. It is open on all Sauschwänzlebahn travel days and admission is already included in the train fare. During a joint site inspection with the Sauschwänzlebahn team, a total of 15 stations were identified in the exhibition rooms for an audio tour. With the input of the experienced museum guides from MAQNIFY, an entertaining audio contribution was written for each station. These contributions were then set to music with different speakers. Together with suitable visual material showing, for example, historical photographs or exhibits, everything was then put together.
