The digital city tour

For the town of Schopfheim, MAQNIFY has developed a tour with 18 stations through the old town of Schopfheim. In German and English, locals and visitors can view more detailed information about the sights. The digital offer serves as a supplement to the existing flyer with an overview map of all important stations.

Schopfheim's calendar of events lists the annual highlights, such as the annual beach volleyball tournament or the concerts from the "Summer Sound" series, which bring numerous visitors to Schopfheim. A ticket link is also available for selected events.

Complementary measures

As part of the project, the town of Schopfheim has renewed the historical town maps created in 2007 by the now deceased graphic artist Helmut Scaruppe on all buildings and added a QR code. The QR code leads visitors directly to Schopfheim's new digital offer.

As a further measure, striking stickers in the colours of the town were created and attached to the pillars of the pedestrian guidance system and the car parks, thus drawing visitors' attention to the digital town tour directly on arrival.
