New system, infinite possibilities
In autumn 2023, we modernised the MAQNIFY© Guide user interface, bringing it in line with the latest technological standards. Our constant quest for innovation and client satisfaction has led us to overhaul the MAQNIFY© CMS, the content management system behind our MAQNIFY© Guide, too. The aim was to optimise usability for our customers and to make the system so intuitive that anyone could use it without needing any prior knowledge. A defining objective of the overhaul of the MAQNIFY© CMS was to develop an intuitive user interface that would enable clients to manage their digital offerings themselves. In order to meet the requirements of the broadest spectrum of users possible, we have created five packages for the MAQNIFY© Guide ranging from Starter to Pro, all of which you can test-drive for 14 days for free. Self-registration means that you can be up and running in no time at all, independent of place and time.
The test-drive also includes a personal onboarding meeting to familiarise you with the system and give you the most important tips and tricks. You can also download a comprehensive free manual that describes all the features in detail.
What was previously known as ‘routes’ have been renamed to ‘guides’, in line with the MAQNIFY© Guide branding, to underpin the new universal applicability of the MAQNIFY© CMS for an infinite variety of use cases.
In addition, the former ‘points of interest’ and ‘suggestions’ categories have been consolidated into the single standard ‘POI’ category. Depending on the package you opt for, you can select any number of categories for your POIs and display them in a number of ways.
Due to this flexible content management, there is an infinite number of ways in which you can display content in your guides.
We have tidied up the dashboard to provide quick access to all content, unrestricted content management and statistics for your guides. If you’re test-driving our system, the remaining number of days is also prominently displayed. The menu of the MAQNIFY© CMS has also been overhauled and now has a more clear structure.
Content management within any single guide is now more intuitive and the contemporary tab structure guides users to all relevant areas of content step by step. Descriptions and tool tips have also been integrated, enabling you to identify all that you need to consider to achieve the best results.
Our integrated interface to the German National Tourist Board (GNTB) Knowledge Graph enables you to import and synchronise open data content directly in the MAQNIFY© CMS, saving time when creating digital guides and avoiding the need to maintain duplicate datasets. Other interfaces are already in the pipeline and can be tailored to your requirements.
You can use flip tiles to make your guide more interactive and introduce fun elements that also look appealing. These could be used to present quiz questions or fun facts.
If you create more than one guide in the MAQNIFY© CMS, you can now set up a landing page for all the guides in your account. You can assign the landing page a custom URL and link further content from your guides, such as events.
Our five packages from Starter all the way to Enterprise enable you to select the one that best suits your requirements, starting from €36 per month. You can switch package yourself in the admin interface at any time, ensuring maximum transparency and flexibility.
We also offer a full setup service and all applicable services for your guides.
Besides the many layout options for your content, you also have access to a variety of customisation options in the admin interface, including applying your own colour scheme, fonts and logo.
In addition, with the Pro package you can set up any number of categories for your POIs and customise them using icons from the available library.
