Our MAQNIFY CMS has been given a comprehensive overhaul. A few days ago, we went live with the new frontend of the MAQNIFY system. Our customers and visitors can now look forward to an improved user experience.
Find out more about the new features that the MAQNIFY tour guide now offers.
Usability is the top priority for the MAQNFIY tour guide. That's why the entire layout has been optimized even more for smartphones, making use on mobile devices even smoother and more user-friendly. The new menu now offers an improved option for manual language selection of the tours and DSGVO-compliant sharing of individual pages on social networks. This makes navigation easier and continues to protect users' privacy.
The home page has been visually enhanced and now displays a header image in addition to the popular image gallery. The inviting "Start tour" button makes it easier for users to find their way to tours and round trips.
The use of the gallery on mobile devices has been improved by implementing a simple swipe function. Users can now scroll effortlessly through the image gallery. Longer texts are automatically collapsed to increase clarity and simplify the search for information.
The contact fields for the POI items have been improved and made clearer. Depending on the data stored, buttons for "Call", "Mail", "Website" and "Navigation" are displayed. In addition, the current status "open until/open at" is displayed directly in the header area and also in the preview fields of the POI for stored opening hours.
Our map module has been completely redesigned and now offers more functionalities. Users can switch between map and list view, display recommendation entries directly on the map and sort POIs according to various categories. Pins are also clustered on the map depending on the zoom level to provide a better overview. Custom pin icons also help with the overview of the individual offers on the map.
The event calendar has been updated and now offers more detailed information. For events with defined start times, the start time is now displayed directly in the preview screen in addition to the date. The restructuring of the description texts means that longer texts can now also be saved for each event. In addition, it is now also possible to add individual images or galleries to events.
Instead of the well-known "Interesting facts" category, we have introduced a completely redesigned module: the flip tiles. These tiles, which can be rotated with a click, can be provided with texts and/or images in various ways and offer an exciting opportunity to display Fun Facts or small puzzles in each POI, for example. Any number of flip tiles can be assigned to each POI. This means that existing tours can be upgraded again and again with current, interesting or playful elements. This keeps a tour exciting even for returning visitors.
